Located in Lower Merion, Friends’ Central’s Summer Programs have something for everyone. Our rich and varied summer programs, filled with endless fun and excitement, are available to children ages 3 through grade 12. The same commitment to excellence that distinguishes Friends’ Central as an outstanding independent school in the Philadelphia region is also a central tenet of our summer programs. All of our summer programs are managed by Friends’ Central teachers who are invested in our school community and committed to providing a positive, enriching, and safe camp experience for every child.
My kids LOVE this camp! The counselors are wonderful with the children and the variety of activities offered is fantastic. My kids cry at the end of camp each year! They miss their counselors and camp friends and very much look forward to summer just for camp! Thanks for everything you do- keep up the wonderful work!

CAMPUS OVERVIEW
The beautiful 23 acres of Friends’ Central’s City Avenue Campus provide exceptional facilities for a variety of camp activities, regardless of the weather. Two gyms, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, and hockey fields provide campers with a variety of space for sports and games. Our computer lab and makerspace, theater and indoor swimming pool are used throughout the summer as well.

The Old Gulph Road Campus in Wynnewood, encompasses 18 acres, with a computer lab and maker space, fields, a nature trail, a large outdoor swimming pool, a gym perfect for rainy days and three playgrounds for campers to explore. Our well-equipped facility and varied terrain offer a place for young and curious minds to come alive!
