New Campers
Step 1. Research
What kind of camp are you looking for? Day Camp? Specialty Camp? FCS prides ourselves in our excellent Day Camp options for campers aged 3-12. With varied activities throughout the day, campers are given the opportunity to explore their interests. We also offer a number of specialized and academic options for campers up to age 17. Please see our Overview and FAQ pages to get started!
Step 2. Schedule a Tour
Once you have narrowed down which camp interests your camper and are ready to learn more, use our online form or call the office at 610-645-5132 to schedule a tour on either of our beautiful campuses (or both!) If you begin the search early enough, we highly recommend summer tours so you can see us in action! Potential Campers are more than welcome to join us for the tour (not required).
Step 3. Talk to your child
Take some time to go over the information, jot down some questions, and feel free to call us as much as you need- that’s what we’re here for!
Step 4. Register
Once you’ve decided which FCS camp is the best fit for you, our entire application process is online. Please see our Camper Application where you will create your CampInTouch profile. Once the application is submitted we need the Health History Form to be completed before the enrollment can be processed. Once we have received all required documents the application and deposit will be processed.
Step 5. Additional Options
If the additional options were not posted during your initial registration, an email will be sent out when they are made available. These include lunches, transportation, extended day, etc.
Step 6. Camper Packets
In early June Camper Packets are sent out via mail or email. These packets contain Director Letters, Calendar, and car signs. The Director’s Letter contain important information from the Director of your child’s camp. Car signs are used for pickup and dropoff (car signs may be given out on first day of camp rather than sent in the mail, varies).
Step 7. Orientation
Each camp has an orientation day (typically the Saturday before the beginning of camp). This is your opportunity to meet with camp staff, nurses, and see the campus before summer is in full swing. For Campers who may be nervous, this is a great opportunity for them to meet their bunkmates and counselors who will be with them for the summer. For parents who are nervous, this is a great opportunity to speak with the nurse over any health related concerns, meet bunk counselors, and fellow parents! If you cannot make the orientation but would like to schedule a time to speak with the counselors or the camp nurse, you will have direct contact information for each camp in the “Director’s Letter.” If you would like to have your child visit the campus before the start of summer, please contact the office!
Step 8. Camp Begins
Get excited! As always, if you have any questions or concerns you can contact the office or directors. We are here to make sure your first year of camp goes smoothly, so please do not hesitate to reach out!
